Cow Girl Vending Machine

This twitch stream toy is in active development.

At this point in time it is a minimum viable product.

This is the CowGirl Vending Machine! A customizable Twitch stream toy to give your viewers more options for engagement!

Using channel points or bits your viewers can roll the gacha for cute lovable cowgirls, and score points to see who's the ULTIMATE COWGIRL CONNOISSEUR!

What's that? You don't like cowgirls? First of all, HOW DARE YOU? However the Cow Girl Vending Machine is designed to stock a variety of items! If you can draw it, you can make an item set to vend it!

While custom item sets are implemented, there are currently no tools to easily make them. you will have to edit JSON files to create or alter an item set.

How To Use

Step 1) Launch the program.

Step 2) Connect your Twitch account. The program will launch a browser window to connect with Twitch, and grant the required permissions. 

Step 3) Create a Twitch channel point redeem called "Get Milk" or enter the settings screen in the program to bring up the settings menu, and change the redeem name to anything you want. The redeem name is case insensitive.

Step 4) In OBS, use a game capture to capture the program, and match the window title. Make sure to check the "transparent capture" option.

Step 5) Stream, and have fun! Let your viewers know they can get points and see cute cowgirls on stream!

Dev's Notes

• THE EXE VERSION MAY BE FLAGGED BY WINDOWS DEFENDER. While the file is safe, the exe file bundled in that version is creating a false positive. If you experience this issue, please download the JAR VERSION. This version will require a Java installation, which can be downloaded for free at https://www.java.com/en/download/
• Sometimes after authenticating, the program will still open a web browser page to re-authenticate. If there's no text on the program waiting to authenticate, then this browser window can be ignored.
• In the settings menu, there are various volume sliders for music, sound effects, and item sounds. The default cowgirl set has no sounds. Might change this later.
• While the stream toy is intended to work with pixel art, there shouldn't be any issue making item sets with high-res art.
• At the time of writing, the only item set made is the cowgirl item set. As more item sets are made, bugs and magic numbers that were sprinkled through the stream toy's code will be fixed.
• Each scoreboard is item set specific. To reset a scoreboard simply delete the .db file in the "scores/" folder. Please do not delete the scores folder.
